This was an interesting book that provided great insight into what it was like to be a slave. The description and details are vivid from the start of the journey to the end, and Sharon M. Draper has really allowed you to both empathize with characters and gasp at the horrors that face them.Almost 13 years agozenga has read this book.

This book is one of my favorite books! It is sad at times, funny at other times, but no matter what, it is always meaningful. I would definitely recommend this book!About 13 years agozenga has read this book.
