This book is amazing. I might just be sensitive, but I cried twice while reading this book. And I literally hugged it when I was finished. When we see people who are different we all do this thing to them. We look at them strange, and then maybe quickly smile or laugh at the surprise, and it really hurts. They are like any other person! We don't have to be extra nice to them, or super mean. This is explains that from a hard point of view. Auggie is a regular kid. Except his face. And he just wants to fit in. His parents put him into school, and he has never been there before. This shows his whole school year, and he faces a lot! Loss, friendship, love pain. That is what this book means to me. Give this book a chance. I think you will love it.

This is a awesome book! Trevor Noah is a funny comedian, so you don't think his life would be like this. You find out what living in an African village is like. Great job Trevor Noah! I recommend this for mostly kids 10-12! Enjoy!😁
