Julia Alvarez makes characters and their experiences come alive. Told in 1st person point of view, I laughed and cried as 10 year old Miguel related life in a new town after his parent's divorce. Chapter 3 is a real gem angling internal & external conflict.About 12 years agokellyclass added a bookmark.

Told from the point of view of a super intelligent hamster, this is a funny read. Freddy's feline friend and rodent roommates are a riot!Over 12 years ago

I'd paint Kermit the Frog using fly fishing "flies".Over 12 years agokellyclass added a book review.
