Eye surgery in general can be dangerous. The eyes are very sensitive and advanced parts of the body, much so that they're considered by most scientists a part of the nervous system. Sending signals to and from the brain whilst being such a fragile little pieces. Luckily though, eye surgeons are very trained and do this sort of thing pretty often. Anyways sorry for the rant, I love anatomy..
