Sean Sullivan, a young boy who is going on adventures with his father to help him out, with his brother, John in school, living with Aunt Katie. Sean, then ended up working at the railroad with his father, often experiencing deaths from other people, and possible losing his own life also a problem that he often have to avoid while working at the railroad. But things are happening, men who were at war died or wounded in action, and others disappeared without any trace.
