She was a runner who had polio as a child. The doctors said she would never walk again, but she got gold medals even!

She is an runner who kept on trying to achieve her dream even despite the challenges she faced! You should look her up! She’s really cool! :-D

She was the fastest women alive. She was one of the first African American track star, and she was the first black women to get three gold medals in one Olympics competition.

Hey, It's Black History Month in February. Where we remember those African Americans who made history for our nation! Like, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, John Lewis, Frederick Douglas, MLK Jr. Barack Obama, Corey Booker, Langston Hughes... I could go on all day! But sadly I have school, and there is a character limit.
