Oh my goodness, winter storms knocked out our power and cell service for 46 hours! It was soo cold inside the house, and we couldn't use our stove or even get hot water! I am very grateful the power is back on now!!
fosterkeefe fosterkeefe

Yeah, for me too. Me and family had to drink out of water bottles for 4 days! Our power kept coming on and off!

Oh, goodness! We went out for 4 days! I agree it was very cold. I could see my own breath in my house. It was warmer outside haha.

Oh no! I've been hearing about how the winter storms are affecting people across the US. I'm so glad you're okay!

Wow!! I take it you live in one of the southern states?? I heard a lot about that, that there were record lows down there. What was the outside temperature?? Anyway I'm glad it's better now :)

I am so glad that you now have power! I heard about the storms in Texas and my old babysitter lives there now. I'm wishing the best for you and anyone else in Texas!!

You know, it makes me sad when I take a moment to think about how many members join our club but never comment. It's like they are not here to try to have fun with others, get good book recommendations, and so many other endless possibilities! I mean, what if they only joined for the points? Or the badge???

I really started commenting in earnest on Nat Geo in just the last two years, because of the limited time I have with dogo due to overwhelming homework- I used to do exclusively book reviews, but I try hard to make my reviews quality material, which often takes two to write, as I like to rough draft, edit, sleep on it, make final edits and only then post.

thats true, who care.

Yea, it is. I joined here 'cause I heard about this from a dogo user and it seemed fun.
roxanne3 roxanne3

I agree- to all of you that may be reading this, make sure you comment and tell us about yourself!! And encourage your friends to join DOGO and this book club!!
bsc bsc

Huh, that is sad!
sky_dragon sky_dragon

Um, right but what we can do? I mean there are many who joined dogo but never came back here! I really think it depends on them! Maybe they find something more interesting, so they left. Those who joined this club might be just seeing our comments and don't like to write anything! So, I really don't know...
