Does anyone know that the Amazon Rainforest is being cut down? The president of Brazil is encouraging it! I mean it's horrible and tragic!! And the Amazon Rainforest homes thousands of animals and plants!! WHAT ABOUT YOU? Oh no! I am very passionate about the environment and I am upset that this is happening. So many unique animals and plants live in the rainforest.
I remember first hearing about it when I jokingly said I wanted to move to Brazil (because America is crazy) and my mom told me about this. I was horrified! The Amazon Rainforest is one of the most abundant places in the world and we need to protect it! I think a petition may be enough (possibly a global one) to save the rainforest.
