Have you ever been faced with a huge decision? In this book called Matched by Ally Condie Cassia's life changes in many ways. Some ways for the better and other ways for the worse. The book takes place in the province of Oria which is where Cassia and her family live. Cassia lives with her parents and her brother, Bram. When you turn 17 you are put into the matching pool by the society. Your match is presented to you at a match banquet. Your match is the person you will be married to. It was a surprise to everyone when Cassia was matched with her best friend Xander. Everything seemed to be going great until she saw Ky Markham's face flash on her micro card that was supposed to have Xander's face on it. This moment was the turning point of the book. Cassia is the protagonist and the officials are the antagonists. The officials decide your whole life for you and Cassia isn't going to let that happen. Two major conflicts in this book are Cassia not being able to have the life he wants and also hiding things from the officials and Xander. This book had a great ending that made me want to read the next book. I recommend reading this book and I hope you like it as much as I did!

If you loved the Babysitters Club books by Ann M. Martin, then you should totally read the Babysitters Club graphic novels! Originally taken up by Raina Teglemier, Gale Galligan continues the rage by publishing "Kristy's Big Day". In the book, Kristy Thomas's mom is getting married to Watson, father of Karen the storyteller and Andrew the shy guy. Kristy knows that Watson is an okay person, but does she really want him as a dad internally? And throughout lots of mishaps, babysitting, and crying, can the wedding still be pulled off and be the perfect day Watson and Kristy's mom deserve?

I won this book through a DOGO books giveaway, and let me tell you, this book was amazing! I love dinosaurs and wanted to be a paleontologist when I was younger. This book did a really good job of capturing reader's attention with facts about dinosaurs you wouldn't think to be true! I can now proudly say that if I was alive during the time of the dinosaurs I would probably not survive, because....dinosaurs. But seriously, though, this book gave me a lot of tips on what TO do in the time of dinosaurs. I highly recommend this book to anyone with a love of dinosaurs, or even a fear of them, because this book may change your perspective on these mighty creatures!

With insane plots, dastardly rescue missions, and youthful humor, the reader will be glued to the pages of this book until the end. (Which, as the series is eight novels long, may be quite some time.)

I got this as an early Christmas gift from a family member, and I was like, "Okay, I'm not totally sure I'll like it, but I'll try it!" The next day I start reading it, and guess what happens? It was finished by the end of the day!!!! I loved it! I love that it has so much diversity, and one of the characters is very near and dear to me because she is so much like my grandmother (in more ways than one!). At the end of the day, I highly recommend this book!

As a 10 year old kid, I have considered reading bigger books. Fablehaven, by Brandon Mull is such a great book. I love the characters and the big selection of new vocabulary. It is fiction because it has fairies and witches. Read it! Luv, em.
