Through photographs, original journal entries and the writing of her two granddaughters, this book begins with Madeleine's days as a lonely child and her journey through life and emotions to find herself as the incredible writer of so many amazing books, including A Wrinkle in Time. I found this story to be like a door into the past, allowing me to understand how, when and where Madeleine L'Engle became who she was, faced hardships and immense joy and every day challenged herself to become more.

Herstory: 50 Women and Girls Who Shook Up the World. This was a great book. It talks about all these women and girls, who did many things for good, not for fame or something like that. All good. In history, women were discriminated, with not many rights, and stereotyped as weak, timid, and other qualities most people nowadays wouldn't approve of. The artwork is amazing, with lots of captions and pictures. I rate this 4 out of 5 stars.

First off I'm sorry I haven't wrote in a long time!! Second off the book. If you're heading to middle school, or starting at the very moment, this is the book to get. It explains everything you should or could do. I'm going to middle school next year and when I read this in fourth grade, I actually tried to picture myself. It has solutions and facts about different problems. Different classes, friends, grades, parties, and other similar things occur in this book. I read this before I was even in fifth grade so that I could be prepared. I'm not saying read this before but just to try to know everything about starting sixth grade. It really did help me learn the different things.

Plants vs. Zombies is the best! I was so scared that Dr. Zomboss' evil plan was going to work this time. I'm glad the plants stopped him.

This would be a good book to have on a long drive or on an airplane. They don't lie, it has some of the cutest animals ever! This would be a good book for all ages but mostly 3-7. I would recommend this book.
