Bella's Story: A Dog's Way Home Tale

Bella's Story: A Dog's Way Home Tale

By W. Bruce Cameron

This book was very good!! This book talks about how Bella was hiding from everyone since she wasn't supposed to be there she was and learned a lot like not to bark and how to go home by herself. Then one day the Animal Control took Bella and kept her for awhile Bella waited for Lucas to come but he never came. She decided to go and leave, run until she found. My connection to this book is that I would do whatever to save and animal and keep it until I am allowed to keep it where I live,I love dogs and every summer I foster them. I gave this book a 5 because, I love reading about dogs since I have one and the story was very interesting.

And with captions from the girls themselves. Happy reading!

The Swap

The Swap

By Megan Shull

Ellie O'Brian and Jack Malloy are two very different kids. When they both coincidentally meet up in the nurse's office on the first day of school, they joke about swapping lives, both thinking the other has it easier. The nurse mutters a spell about switching lives, and just like that, they swap. Jack is in Ellie's body, and Ellie is in Jack's. At the end of the day Friday, they agree to demand the nurse to switch them back on Monday. They just have to survive the weekend. Over the course of the weekend, Ellie has to deal with Jack's demanding dad, hockey, Jack's brothers, and exercising like she's never done before. Jack has to deal with mean girls at sleepovers and talking about puberty. As they see what the other goes through every day, they realize that no one has it easy, and appreciates their own life. The Swap is narrated by both Jack and Ellie, and does a great job of helping you understand what is happening. I really enjoyed reading this book, and I know you will too.

Septimus Heap, Book Seven: Fyre

Septimus Heap, Book Seven: Fyre

By Angie Sage

I loved this series! I read it a while ago so I don't remember all the details, but I definitely know that it was a really good book. About Septimus and Jenna's adventures. And you have to read it.

TodHunter Moon, Book Two: SandRider (World of Septimus Heap)

TodHunter Moon, Book Two: SandRider (World of Septimus Heap)

By Angie Sage

This is part of what the cover flap on the book says: "It's been two months since Alice TodHunter Moon - who insists on being called Tod - left her home in the seaside PathFinder village to pursue a life of Magyk in the Castle. Being Apprentice to the ExtraOrdinary Wizard Septimus Heap is tricky, though - there's loads of new Magyk to learn, she misses her friends Oskar and Ferdie. But at least she's mastered the UnSeen Charm." I personally think that its one of the best books that Angie Sage has ever written! :):):)

The Secret Sheriff of Sixth Grade

The Secret Sheriff of Sixth Grade

By Jordan Sonnenblick

Nabila :)

In the beginning, the story had a sad tone to it, but as I continued reading the character gained determination and wanted to make a change. That intrigued me into wanting to read more! I wanted to know all about the character's journey and what else is going to happen. If you are the kind of person who just wants to keep figuring and dig deeper, then this story is just right for you! Honestly, the suspense does all the work! :)

The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code

By Dan Brown

This book is about Robert Langdon, a professor of an University, and Sophie, the cop working in a Paris police station, trying to solve a murder. Robert Langdon not only studies Leonardo Da Vinci’s work, but also studies Da Vinci’s mysteries, including the secrets in his paintings, and religions while he was alive. Sophie cooperated with Robert Landon to find out the murderer of the crime. The intense part of this book is the procedure involving physical violence between the criminal and Robert Langdon. The tension of their conflict excited me. I will recommend this book to my friends because most parts in the story are intriguing, which will capture the readers into the story.
