I loved this book! It was heartwarming and a powerful reminder of the tragedies of the Vietnam war, and the realness of what it was like to be a Cambodian refugee in America. The story shows the struggles of Sundara, a Cambodian girl who had to flee with her uncle and aunt's family to escape the tragedies of the Vietnam war. Now living a new life in America, Sundara is trying to be a proper Cambodian girl and push away the grief of her lost family and the child that died in her arms. And one day against all odds, Sundara falls in love with an American boy, and she wonders how she will ever be able to follow the Cambodian way of waiting for an arranged marriage when she feels so powerfully drawn to him. Sundara has little hope for a happy ending, but she's willing to try and get one, even if it means going against her family's age-old customs. And even in the midst of war, there is joy and good news on the horizon.

The slave, Thomas wants to be free from the ranch. He and his sister, Birdie, have suffered way too much. One day they leave and get rescued by the Union who helps them throughout the trip. But now, the Confederacy has got them surrounded in the battlefield of Gettysburg. Will Thomas and his sister survive this battle? You have to read it to find out.

The funniest parts of this book were: having to crawl through a vent system to find a stuffed animal and sitting next to a cat while eating tuna. The most exciting part was when someone went through a window just like a spy.

Each Justice League member is puzzled as they each receive an email which they don't quite know the answer to. Bat Man is asked if he ever makes mistakes, Aquaman is asked if he smells like fish, Wonder Woman is asked about her childhood, Green Lantern is asked about fashion, Cyborg is challenged to an online game, Hawkgirl is asked about what she eats, and Flash is (almost!) made fun of. Each team member questions themselves as they go through another day of saving the world! This super (get it!) book walks you through the comical and truthful behind the scenes life and thoughts of a super hero and teaches us all an important lesson. Nobody's perfect, but as long as you're kind and work together, anything is possible!

i recommend this book scary but funny

that book looks so interesting and everybody is typing such good reviews and I kind of really want a spoiler . I know that you cant tell but I am talking really fast. O my gosh I just said o my gurd I am falling apart here people

This is an adventure so sweet you might need to go to the dentist after. Lexi Poole, member of PLC (Peace, Love and Cupcakes) comes back from a summer with her aunt in NYC. As school starts, her drama class decides to put on the production Romeo and Juliette. She gets the part of Juliette, even though she is shy, but the worst part is her all time crush got the part of Romeo!

This book is totally amazing, it has lots of games and puzzles. And at the end of each chapter it gives you a quiz about the chapter you just read. Mazes and interesting facts are all involved in this book. Some of the tests and quizzes trick you like they don’t have a correct answer. You can also learn from this book. Well, this book is really basically teaching you lessons that you should know about a human’s body.
