Not for younger readers, but it's still a magical journey through the life of a super villain. You may even sympathize the Lavanna (Pardon my possible incorrect spelling) even though she made some bad choices and continued to do so.

In the beginning of the book, Queen Leah and King Stefan rule the land. Unfortunately, they have a crave for greed and all things fancy. With their forces, they stripped the land of its natural beauty. So when their daughter Aurora was born, the parents didn’t love her that much, three evil fairies gave the baby girl gifts, but the final cursed her to perish on her 16th birthday. Maleficent, a good fairy, was able to change this so Aurora would live on her 16th birthday. Aurora turns 16, and next thing you know, BOOM! Maleficent is back and has taken Aurora into her custody and thrown the queen and king into the dungeon. Maleficent and Aurora live a subtle and semi-boring life in the castle. That is, until Aurora finds out that this is all a dream, and that her parents are good and the fairies blessed her with good gifts. But the most shocking thing Aurora finds out is that Maleficent is bad and has been using the townsfolk to survive and keep power. Fleeing the castle, Aurora meets Prince Philip and the two of them wander outside of the castle searching for a way out of the horrid dream. Dodging Maleficent’s evil demons and traps, the two of them work hard to wake Aurora up. During the journey, both of the young heroes learn and discover things about themselves on this journey to defeat maleficent and wake Aurora up. Happy reading!

The Death Cure is the final book in the maze runner series and it is a must read! The book continues the story where Thomas feels even more betrayed and hurt by everyone, causing all the Gladers and the rest of the group to rebel and leave WCKD. As Thomas, Jorge, Brenda, and Minho try to search for the Right Arm, the rest of the world is crumbling and everyone they know are beginning to fall apart and die. One of my favorite scenes in this book is when Newt begs Thomas for his death because he didn't want to be an insane crank. Although Thomas refuses to kill him at first, he eventually ends Newt's life and make amends. I love this scene because there are tons of emotions of how he loses his friend, the guilt, and how miserable and confused Thomas is. I really like Teresa because she's brave, mysterious, and has always cared for Thomas since she first met him. Before the Immunes escape, she saved Thomas life and died in his place, stating that she is sorry and she only cared for him. Overall, I think this book is just amazing and is full of adventures, emotions, and lessons about friendship.

Great!Great! Great! Keeper of the Lost Cities is a interesting, awesome, intruiging, mysterious book with things that will keep you hanging on until the end. 12-year-old Sophie was never the same as everybody else ....well after she was 5. Ever since she's been a Telepath, a mind-reader and nobody else knows...........or so she thinks. One day she meets Fitz, who changes her life entirely and soon she lives in a world you can't imagine. This funny, interesting and mysterious book has laughing, shocking and sad times everywhere and special Sophie learns that being a Telepath is not the only secret that lies in her inpenetreble head and mind-reading is just the start.

I LOVE this book its so intense and Its HARRY POTTER! Whats not to love? The movie was not only amazing and it it explains (most) of the plot holes that where so confusing before. It does go WAY darker than the original movie/book. IT"S AMAZING!!!!!!!

I think this is a awesome and very interesting book. The character are special and how they interact with each others, also the relationships between them make me feel alive. When I was reading the story, I feel nervous when Victor almost got them, I feel funny when they joke and get angry at each other, I feel differently. The story is very cool and as I was reading it, I feel like the characters are coming alive. After reading this story, it really reminds me of me and my best friends. When I was small, I always imagine and wanted to have a group of friends that forms a team that is very famous and powerful.

Because I love DRAGONS! So in this story it's almost all about mythical creatures and some made up ones! So a dragon named Firedrake has to leave his home to find the Rim Of Heavens for him and the rest of the dragons to live, so you think Firedrake is all alone right? Wrong! Firedrake is taking his best friend, a brownie girl named Sorrel and now later on in the story, they find a human boy named Ben and takes him along too. Now they don't know that there is a dragon named Nettlebrand he cant fly but he hunts silver dragons! So a gnome tells Nettlebrand and he makes his little servant named Twigleg go after them and find out where they are going! So Firedarke, Sorrel, and Ben don't know this so they found Twigleg and brought him along for the journey! We better hope them luck!

An AMAZING book! I love the trilogy, and I find it sad that people have not seen this in so long, and like wiccanbat666, they find that they cannot finish the book because of the time in their schedule. I hope others can find time for this, and truly appreciate this author's work. Support Ms. Funke!

This book was probably the most creative novel I have ever read! The fact that Cornelia Funke can include so many different characters, each with diverse backstories, but all tied together in some small way in the story. Even if most of it is trying to escape Capricorn, I loved it. The characters are so amazingly realistic, it's as if I'm really living the story!
