Kids Books - Science Fiction

Splintered was absolutely amazing and the second book, Unhinged, was just as spectacular, if not more. The descriptions were so vivid and the characters haunting. The relationships are so well woven that I didn't mind for the first time in a while that there was a love triangle. I've reread the first two book at least five times each in the last two years. A. G. Howard has landed her book at the top of my 'Books That Have Changed My Life' shelf... There's only two other books... I can't wait for the third book, Ensnared, and I pray that A. G. keeps writing more and more and more for years to come!

this is a really awesome book.if you go through each page it tells you about a lot of characters from Harry potter. It tells you .she their Hogwarts house . Fun facts...if you are a Harry potter fan I recommend this book to you.I rate this book 4/5stars. -Pizzagirl7💋

This novel is absolutely amazing! Jyn Erso, along with her caretaker, Saw, goes on quests she had only dreamed of before. Going to different planets has always been on Jyn's to-do list, but then everything went wrong. She and Saw were betrayed, and Jyn finds herself abandoned by Saw, with no one to take care of her. Jyn will have to learn to defend herself now. When she finally comes across a family of two, they take her in, but, like Saw, they soon became inaccessible to her. Jyn ends up in the Imperial prison after, and gets recruited by a mysterious group of people...

The classic story of Beauty and the Beast, infused with modern times. Kyle Kingston, a pretty boy with a famous news anchor dad is turned into a beast, due to his ego. In the harsh environment known as school, looks do matter, but what do they say behind your back. I just hope you didn't miss the beauty boat. With his twisted attitude, he'll have to do something he has never done before, be nice. Can he win the girls heart with that face and personality, or is there something deeper within him?

The Sleeper and the Spindle is a book written by Neil Gaiman. In this book, the perspective is of Snow White! It is near her wedding to the prince, but a spell is going through the kingdom, a spell that makes everyone in it's path fall asleep. Not wanting the spell to ruin her wedding, she decides to get to the bottom of it. Will she stop the spell in time? Read the book to find out! I gave this book 4 stars becuase even though the plots were really hard to understand, the illustrations were good!

This was an interesting story about a young girl in the early 1900's who is learning her place in the world. In this story Calpurunia is the only girl in a family with six brothers. As she comes to understand her grandfather as a teacher, she also struggles with her mother. Her mother wants her to become a domesticated wife, who knows how to sew, cook, knit, etc. But Calpurinia is not interested in these things at all. She just wants to study science and nature with her grandfather, and maybe become a scientist herself, not a housewife. As Calpurnia tries to keep her family together she learns lessons of trust and self-confidence, and being who you really are inside. I recommend this book to older people, however there aren't any action scenes, and some people may become bored with the storyline if they do not enjoy this type of book, setting in the past.

This is a hilarious read with many unexpected twists and turns, yet I didn't get what the overall message was. To me it was just a one-time read if you want something light and easy that you don't have to think about. When the main character AJ goes back to school for 6th grade he feels left behind. In his trio of friends he is the only one that didn't grow, the only one that didn't do anything exciting over the summer, and he still has the same crush he has had for years, and his crush still doesn't notice him...........but maybe this year will be different. One thing AJ knows about Nia, who according to AJ is the most perfect girl on the planet, is that she is totally into vampires. AJ hatches a far-fetched plan for him to dress up as a vampire to get Nia to notice him......and it backfires........badly. He goes all out, with messed up hair, sunken in eyes, fangs, sunglasses, and blood on his teeth, and Nia definitely notices him. He catches Nia's bus and when they get off on the same stop, Nia corners him in the woods, and AJ learns that she is a SLAYER. This book will be a wonderful read for kids who like graphic novels, coming-of-age books, or easy, light reads. Definitely read this book to find out the result of AJ's crazy plan, and Nia's dream.

This book is mostly the entire trolls movie but from branchs point of view that's why I love it so much.it tells you all about how branch knows that the burdens would come and how horrible it was to have every one in his bunker!I recommend this book mostly to younger kids.and I rate this book 3/5 stars 😁 thanks for reading my review!☺ -Pizzagirl7💋

loved this book but to bad the author died before she could write a sequel, tons of people were left hanging to see what happens between Nix and lena and if she sees her mother again or if nix cant hold i his feelings for lena anymore and decides to go to shore and spend the rest of his life with lena ... ug i wish someone would just decide to write the sequel for her.

When Elodee and her sister, Naomi, move into a supposedly "perfect" town, Naomi fits in perfectly. But Elodee? Elodee had always been quirky, so it was no wonder that she didn't fit in. Here in Eventown, it never rains. No one makes mistakes. Nothing bad ever happens. No bad memories are kept. But something seems wrong in the town, and Elodee is the only one who feels it. Can she discover the hidden secret behind it? I thought that this book was written really well, but the only thing I didn;t like about it was that it got kinda slow later on. It also ends with loose threads. Other than that, a really good book. The first chapter got me hooked and I finished it in a single day!
