By Paul Tobin
Plants vs Zombies is one of my favorite graphic novels to read. I love seeing how the plants defeat the zombies. They always have a good plan.
Seekers #6: Spirits in the Stars
By Erin Hunter
Lusa: “We can do it! It’s just a matter of time...” Lusa has come a long way since her cubhood. She used to live in captivity, as a bear with no freedom, but now, she is wild and free. Her bravery, dedication, and loyalty to her friends is put to the test as their journey ends. But not everything is that easy. She and her friends are nervous about leaving each other to find new homes—which is something they must do—and their final destination holds many secrets. How will Lusa, along with Toklo, Kallik, and Ujurak, face the future? For once, her bouncy enthusiasm and high spirits are dampened, especially when she learns that moons of traveling through ice and snow stretch up ahead if she wants to find a home. Can Lusa convince her friends to travel together...into the unknown territory ahead? Read this book to find out! Toklo: “Nothing will ever be the way it was before. But how can I abandon my friends?” Toklo is a grizzly bear cub who has always had a sad life. When he was younger, his brother died from an illness, and his mother was captured by strange, two-legged creatures, taken to live as their captive. He has been grieving for them ever since...but then, he met Lusa, Ujurak, and Kallik, who became his traveling companions. As endless moons of traveling spread out in front of them, Toklo gets increasingly worried. How will four cubs go for that much distance, just to find their homes? And to make matters worse, the two-legged animals who took away his mother have been prowling around more than usual...and their next target might be Toklo and his friends. The bears don’t know if they can keep going in these conditions. What will they do? Read this book to find out! Kallik: “My friends are my priority. I must help them on their quest...or die trying. Kallik believes the spirits of all her loved ones live among the stars, watching over her and her friends. She knows they will always guide her—but do they approve of what she’s going to do next? Traveling with Lusa, Toklo, and Ujurak, who are black bears and grizzlies, is something no other polar bear would do...but Kallik is not the type to abandon her friends. As the journey gets harder, the bears must have what it takes to survive in the cold, arctic wilderness. She can do it—what about her friends, though? When something terrible happens to Ujurak, she wonders if they should stop, or go on into the cold, unforgiving territory ahead. Can Kallik make the right decision? Read this book to find out!
Seekers #4: The Last Wilderness
By Erin Hunter
An awesome story...beautiful, filled with adventure, and simply impossible to put down! You will definitely love this book! Lusa, Toklo, Kallik, and Ujurak have finally arrived at their next destination; the Last Great Wilderness, a place where the four bears can live happily and in peace. All their moons of hard travel have payed off...and now, all their worries are forgotten. With everything the bears could want—from loads of prey, to great trees and ponds—this should be the perfect home for them, right? But Ujurak doesn’t think so. He has the unique ability to shape-shift into any animal he wants, and his instincts tell him to keep going, away from the Last Great Wilderness—because it holds a secret that could destroy them all. The other bears are skeptical, though. Lusa, Kallik, and Toklo don’t think they should move...but Ujurak knows they’re getting dragged away from the real target, which is to go to the place where each bear will find the spirits of their loved ones. But this journey will be treacherous—and it will take all their strength, bravery, and willpower to survive. It seems unlikely that they can complete the quest, but these aren’t ordinary bears. They have survived before...and they will survive again. Can Lusa, Toklo, Kallik, and Ujurak do it? Read this book to find out!
Seekers #5: Fire in the Sky
By Erin Hunter
Sensational! Heartwarming, well written, and a great book. You will fall immediately fall in love with Seekers, right after opening the cover! Life for Lusa, Toklo, Kallik, and Ujurak has always been difficult...but it gets even harder now. As they travel through the treacherous polar wastelands, survival is key. Avalanches, snowdrifts, icy cliffs of danger—the bears must be prepared for all of it. They have survived many close encounters with death before. But this is unlike anything they have ever seen...and the four friends must be ready for what lies ahead. Meanwhile, Ujurak is troubled. He is a shape-shifter with the ability to become any creature he wants, and this will help the bears on their journey—but four cubs—even Kallik, who is a polar bear—are no match for the ice and snow of the arctic climate. On one paw, they may not make it to their final destination, so why not stop traveling? But on another paw, the ice isn’t a good place for Lusa and Toklo, who aren’t polar bears. On the third, they might find some bears who will help them. And on the fourth paw...they might survive. They might make it to the place where bear spirits dance in the stars, watching over their kin. When a spirit visits the cubs and gives them a mysterious message, Kallik, Ujurak, Lusa, and Toklo know they’re on the right track. But can they really complete the journey—before time runs out? Read this book to find out!

Worlds Apart (Story Thieves)
By James Riley
This is the last book in the Story Thieves series, and I loved it! I didn't want the series to end, but it sadly did. This book is about bringing the fictional and non-fiction Bethanys back together and forming the old Bethany. Own needs to stop Nobody with Bethany, but he needs Bethany's help. Can they stop Nobody in time before both worlds collapse? I loved this finale, and I beg for more, even though there not going to be a new one.
Secret Origins (Story Thieves)
By James Riley
It is incredible. The book has major plot twists and is a great continuation to the first 2, but the book lacks closure and doesn't tie up loose ends. It makes sense since it is in the series, but I wish it would give some sort of ending for at least one of the characters. I will still give it 2 stars since the Jupiter City comic book makes up for the lack of closure and the dad is super cool!
