Kids Books - Graphic Novels

Dog Man Unleashed is the second book in the Dog Man series. It is written by the same author as Captain Underpants so if you like those books, you will LOVE this book. It is about a police man with the head and brain of a dog. There is a short summary of how that happened in the beginning of the book. But if you want to follow the entire series you should also read the first Dog Man book. In the book there are mysterious things happening and it is up to Dog Man to figure it out and stop the crime. This book was fun to read because of the entertaining story and vivid pictures. It also has instructions of how to draw the characters in the back of the book and a bonus comic. I personally would recommend this book for kids in grades 2-5.

I absolutely love this book! I love the relationship Cat and Maya have. Shes very loving to her sister and she protects her like a great older sister she is! I like how when she began going to school she was able to make good friends and they were super nice and kind towards her. I like how in the end she meet with this old woman ghost and they got along nicely. In the end Cat thought that their Grandmother didn't come but instead their ghost of their grandmother made them lots of food for them. I would rate this book 5 stars!

Also, Omar and Hassan have been hoping to see their mother again, but they have had zero luck so far. For almost seven years, the two brothers have stayed at the camp. But when he grows up, Omar wants to do more than sit around in the camp, waiting. Instead, he desperately wishes to become a social worker and help people like him. But the UN has to specially pick his brother and he so that he can go somewhere else. But there are so many people, it seems like he won't ever be chosen. Throughout the story, Omar learns many important lessons on life, like to trust people to defend themselves, ignoring what others say about you, and having hope

My dad read this to me a couple years ago, he's an orthodontist. Reading this again gave me some nice nostalgia! It's a great book.Its such a good book lets say that you like dentist, friends, boys,family, school and growing up then smile is the book that you shall read because its a ten star review⭐⭐ really liked this book, and that's saying something because I am not a huge fan of graphic novels. It's an incredible story, and Raina really changes towards the better at the end. Recommended for sure!In this book a teenager named Raina faces a horrible ascendent when she's racing her best friends . now she has to go to her dentist and get braces in the middle of the year . Can a female teenager survive the school year. Read the book to find out. I hope you will enjoy this book the way I did. HAPPY READING!

I love this book out of all I think that this book is my 2nd favorite book. I love that there are flashbacks, I think it's really cool that it tells you the past that connects to the future. I also love that it shows that sisters never get along all the time. It also shows that even if sisters usually disagree they can always come to an understanding sooner or later. I think that this a great book and I love all her books. I love the art style. In conclusion I give this book a 5 stars.

Cece Bell, just a girl who tries to hide her hearing loss but with her old hearing aids, it's not always that easy, and she's tried to pass as a hearing person but she struggled with her deaf pride. Her friends, Emma Knight (only seen in first part of the story), Laura (been friends since 1st grade), Ginny W. (She's over-enancies her speech as she talks with Cece.), Martha C. (Friends since the summer of around 1980s.), and Mike Miller (Cece's friend and crush). Moving to new and different schools isn't always easy, she don't know bunch of kids there or over there. I just love of how there are bunnies replacing the people throughout Cece's book, it's so cute and interesting at the same time. El Deafo is based on true story of Cece Bell herself. I'm Deaf myself and I'm proud of my identity and I would love to see everyone else embrace their identities, either Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, or just simply Hearing, you are so special and don't let anyone deny that about you. - Happy Reading!

Petey was the one who created Dog Man by blowing them up. Dog Man is a cop that likes the chief so much that he gets in trouble for jumping on him. There is the mayor, and she tries to get the chief in trouble because she think she is the queen. Then there are these hot dogs that try to take over the world by getting a huge taco and ruling the city, but Dog Man saves the day by blowing up the taco with a can of living spray. Dog Man goes flying and so does Petey. Dog Man lands in the police station, and Petey land in Cat jail. Then things go back to normal. I think that people that like to read comic books and like to laugh while reading these books. This book would be a 2nd grade - 5th grade reading level book. I think most of the ages 8 - 12 year old would like this book.

This book is a funny, action packed and a not a wast of your time. Lets get right into it. The Main characters in the book are: Dog man, Little Pete, Pete and Grandpa. There is a very bad villain and flying Evil tad poles. there is a ton of action and I believe many people of different ages can read this like 4-11. my favorite part in the story is when the heroes are out numbered and to find out what happens next read this book.

SPOILER ALERT: I love this book because I like it when it is Chief's big day when the honor Chief in town but he is the only Chief there. Then the Mayor says here to present is Chief's very best friend but he does not show up because he is digging up Mayors roses. After that Chief calls Dog man comes running and then when Mayor sees rose's are on him he knows that Dog Man was digging up his his rose garden. Mayor gets mad and yells at Dog Man and then Mayor is so mad at Dog Man. After that Dog Man rips Mayors hat and then the building goes down. Later that night they go see Mayor at his house but Mayor is still mad and told Chief to fire him, but Chief does not want to fire him so Mayor does and then Chief starts to cry. Then everybody starts to cry and then Dog Man was told to go home and on his way home he starts to cry.

This book is amazing! How two sixth-grade-twins take on middle school and grow apart a little. And it adds a twist of laughter ever time.
