As a part of an experiment, Maximum Ride and five other kids (Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy and Angel- The Flock) are genetically engineered to be 1% bird at The School. As a result of this, they have the ability to fly using the feathered wings which sprout from their backs. As well as being part of a prophecy which foretells that Max must save the world, The Flock are targets for many extremists, most of whom want them dead or to use as living weapons. They believe that they are oddities, freaks, even, and therefore, they cannot trust anyone. When she is on the run from deadly Erasers (who are genetically engineered to be part wolf), how can Max deal with the heavy weight that rests upon her shoulders?

I think this book is cool

Yet another beautifully-written-and- illustrated Thea Stilton book! In this novel, the Thea Sisters travel to Italy to attend a famous ballet competition. Everything seems fun and games at first, but the sisters soon begin to tread across dangerous waters. A popular Italian dance studio seems to be bribing the judges! Clearly, their dancers are less than subpar because of slacking off in class, but how does that explain how they still manage to get that first-place prize? Meanwhile, an innocent self-taught dancer has ten times the talent anyone in the sketchy dance studio has, but the competition judge adamantly discriminates against self-taught dancers. Can the Thea Sisters stop the scheming and bias, and help the dancers into the winning positions they belong in?

This book was off the hook! My sister read it and I thought, "Oh. I'm probably not gonna read that." But it was great! It is about how Nancy and her friends go on a cruise and end up tangled in a mystery! There is a "body" in the pool, a falling chandelier and a falling moose antler that almost crushes Nancy! I'd love to share more, but I don't want to spoil it. Hope you read it!

Good book. Cute that the dog is the narrator. I read this book on my kindle. It was a great mystery book. I definitely want read the other books. This is the first book to a series of i think 3 or 4 books about Bowser and Birdie.

This book is an amazing read and is my personal favorite. It takes place in a fantasy world where dragons and elves are real. I would reconmend it for any reader. Please read this book. I would rate it five out of five stars.

Whalen Vankin is a great wizard, and he has only personally trained two wizards. One of these wizards is Alexander (Alex) Taylor. The other is Jabez, Vankin's nephew. However, Jabez went down a darker path, while Alex earned a reputation as a brave adventurer, a warrior, and a man of honor. Whalen has called Alex for help. They must find Jabez, and destroy him. Whalen trained Jabez against his own better judgement, even though he was always evil. Whalen could not see that he was evil. Whalen believed he was not strong enough to destroy Jabez himself, meaning that Alex has to destroy him. This book was interesting, and I recommend it to people who love fantasy books. I rate it 5/5.

Alex Taylor is an ordinary boy, except for the fact that he has a step-father and no mother. But, even that isn't very remarkable, for his stepfather isn't evil. His step-father is just an ordinary man who owns a tavern called the happy dragon. He also has a step-brother whose name is Todd, who plays lots of tricks, but never means to get anyone in trouble. Only, one day, he goes for a walk on Sildon Lane. It is surprisingly empty, with no cars close to him. He sees a sign in a bookshop that says Adventurers Wanted. Then, he looks away for a second, and it suddenly says, in different colored letters, Adventurers Wanted: Please Apply Within. He goes inside to ask about the sign, and finds himself signing a contract so he can become an adventurer, and suddenly learns about magic from his new fellow adventurers, Arconn and Thrang. Arconn is an elf, and Thrang a dwarf. Then he meets the other adventurers, and goes to get supplies, but while in the blacksmith's shop to get weapons, he learns that he could be a wizard. He also learns about things such as magic bags, and sets off on his adventure with his magic sword, Moonslayer. While on the adventure, he learns about the wall, fights a three-legged troll, and befriends an Oracle.

It was amazing had a lot of death in it though would not recommend it for children 11 and under depending on ability to handle death

Very funny with a big mysterie behind a on little acciedent. I cant wait to find out what comes next who is the crook behind this crime sence.
