i think that Leo and frank or Percy and Jason are going to defeat Gaea because in the prophecy it said that the world must fall to storm or fire Gaea is the goddess of earth right earth like the planet could equal the world and Leo and frank could be fire and Jason and Percy is storm.

Because this is really a discussion board now, since BoO hasn't come out yet, how about someone starts a discussion! (Need help? Here are some topics: Nico, Leo/Calypso, Percabeth, CHB vs. Camp Jupiter, etc. Also, the world [or just me, really,] wants to know: who do YOU think's going to die?)
Nico: It's just odd that for a generally kid's book series, Rick would write about homosexuality. Caleo: I thought it was so sweet that Leo would risk his life to help Calypso. CHB vs Camp Jupiter: The conflict needs to stop. Who I think will die: Octavian, Leo, possibly Will....I hope none of the Seven die though.
I mean Camp Jupiter is nice and all, but it's so Roman.......
I know! It just feels foreign compared to CHB.

Okay, so here are some things I would like to see happen a) PERCABETH!! b) the conflict resolved between the two camps, because you only see a small part in HoH. c) as for Nico, I didn't like it. No more to be said. d) I want Leo to get back to Calypso. True love only happens once in a lifetime. e) I would like to see more humor. The last book was kind of dragging in that. f) as for I think will die? Probably some of the Camp Half-Blood citizens (you can't just keep everyone alive, as much as I would love that.) Also, I think that no one should believe everything I say, because it may/may not be true!
Completely agree with you on c and e. I stopped reading for like a week after the whole Nico scene. (I think Jason will end up telling Percy) I do not think Rick has been planning this from the beginning. LGBT characters JUST became popular. Every YA book I read has at least one. The Annabeth chapters in HoH really dragged. We get it Annabeth! You really want your dagger back!
I honestly don't think that Jason would tell Percy. He's nicer than that. It drives me totally crazy, now, because so many people ship Jason and Nico. A ship with holes is destined to sink. Deal with it.
YES!! I know Annabeth wanted her dagger, but see, since I didn't want her to lose it, I just visualized her with it! (I do that sometimes!)
We need to have Percabeth, Cleo, Frazel, and Jasper all together. :)

you actually don't have to read the book. You can ask questions, predict, or say things you think happened. That's really what I am doing with this book.

one question. How come you don't comment on the other books in the series. Are you just obsessed with book 5? I want to read this really badly. Do I need to read the series in order starting at one?
Well, first you have to read the original series, starting with the Lightning Thief. Finish that series, then read The Lost Hero, The Son of Neptune, The Mark of Athena, and The House of Hades. The reason why I comment on this one is because it's awful to wait for a whole year for one book, and then read it in one day.
OH!!!! so when the next book comes out, you'll be done with this one and then you'll move on to the next one?? (you'll probably make a thousand comments. Thats why you get so many points!!)

I think that you have a pretty good idea. I'd do it with Stone Fox, but it's not popular. Also, Stone Fox is not a series. Maybe i'll start commenting on Diary Of a Wimpy Kid...
Hope Clarisse doesn't die. To me, she's like a very obnoxious, very mean older sister. And Octavian HAS to die. HE IS EVIL.

OH MY GODS. HOLD YOUR CHERRY COKE GUYS 'CAUSE UNCLE TROLLIN' RICK IS IN DA HOUSEEEE!!! Okay. PREDICTION TIME! (I KNOW YOU SECRETLY LOOK FORWARD TO THESE!!) *Prediction* (WARNING: PERACHEL HERE!! HAHAHAHA! TIS A SHIP MEANT TO BE SUNK!) Octavian meets Rachel, their eyes meet, they lean forward, inching closer together. Rachel unsheathes an unseen dagger and plunges it into Octavian's heart, ripping out his innards like he did to all the innocent stuffed animals. "How do you like that Octavian? Is this your type of medicine?" Rachel sneered. Octavian did not respond as his eyes glazed over and he slumped forward into her waiting arms. What Rachel didn't know was, with Octavian being the first demigod's blood spilt on the damp soil, Gaia awoke and reigned terror on the Seven's ship. They died battling until their last breath, Gaia let Leo, the scrawny elf-boy's ghost, to haunt Calypso, her Grand-Daughter. When Percy and Annabeth's bodies were recovered and sent to CHB, she cried over Percy's cold, cold body but glared at Annabeth's. She then buried Percy under the moonlight and near the thrashing waves. She buried Annabeth's nowhere near his as she planned when she died, Rachel would be buried as his Queen and he would have already been her King. Led by Rachel's jealousy, the demigods failed to defeat Gaia. Gaia overthrew the Gods and replaced them with her children. When Rachel did die, her bones were burnt and scattered on the mat below Gaia's feet, millions of miles away from the Percy that never loved her back. Annabeth willed her bones to rebury them next to Percy's and lace her finger bones around his so he and she could forever remain entwined.

i love these books & i also love Greek mythology so i think its good i started reading them. i also read the first Percy Jackson series & im now done with the heroes of Olympus series. +they r so awesome!!!!
