Though the Greek and Roman crew members of the Argo II have made progress in their many quests, they still seem no closer to defeating the earth mother, Gaea. Her giants have risen - all of them - and they're stronger than ever. They must be stopped before the Feast of Spes, when Gaea plans to have two demigods sacrificed in Athens.

THANK GOODNESS FOR THIS WEBSITE, AND THE PEOPLE THAT ARE OBSESSED/FANGIRLING WITH THIS SERIES!!! I DON'T KNOW IF I COULD SURVIVE THE *shudder* YEAR WITHOUT YOU GUYS!

Yes!! I'm thankful for our DOGOBooks community too! I'm so crying for like, a month or two after the ending. Btw, does anyone think Leo's gonna die?

ME TOOOOOO!!! WE CAN BURY OURSELVES IN OUR TEARS TOGETHER!!!

hyper_monkey, me too! We have a serious problem.

Ooh, I love being buried in tears! OMG, I'm so weird.

OH MY GODS!!!!! EVERYONE'S GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!! (That has been just one of the very, ah, wise thoughts that go on in my brain. Which says so much about me.)

Reyna and Lacey and Travis and Katy and, and ,and AHHHHHHHH

Heh. Maybe I shouldn't fangirl in the middle of class. But you do it, too. Our teachers hate me. They love you, though, for some reason.

Oh come on, you know you fangirl more than me. And Seriously you have fangirled me out on several occasions.

Oh, yeah . . . remember Raffi's Bar Mitzvah? And that wasn't even the worst.

This. . . this can't be the end. IT'S MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD! Uncle Rick, I think I speak for all of us when I say you must keep this series going, OR I'LL DIE. Thank you.

Oh yeah, also forgot that he's (done) with a book that has Greek myths in it (over 400 pages!) in Percy's sarcastic mind. And it comes out August 19th, the day after Percy's birthday!! So, everyone must do this on August 18th: Eat everything blue, and celebrate his b-day!

I'm SO excited for the new book! It's supposed to be huge. It's called Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, by the way. I'm interested to see how Percy views some of the gods and monsters he's never met. (Specific interest on his opinion of the myth of Hyacinthus, for obvious reasons.) I'll be Greek-geeking out for weeks in advance! Thank the gods that my friends are into this stuff, too, or who knows where I'd be?

Oh, yeah, and eat blue for Percy's birthday, everyone! (August 18. Like, duh.)

I LOVE THESE BOOKS TOO!!! I reallllly hope he doesn't stop writing them. Although, IF YOU READ HIS BLOG :), HE SAYS HE'S GOING TO MAKE A NORSE MYTHOLOGY ONE, TO COME OUT IN 2015!!! TO ANYONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS, IT'S THE VIKINGS!!!

As much as everyone LOVES Norse mythology (and I'm sure they do), it just won't be the same, you know? And I do read his blog. Loved his advice for writers. :)

Yeah...but I mean, it's still Rick Riodan. Better than reading other books! I read his blog too, and of course, I like his advice for writers. :)

True, and believe me, if Rick Riodan stops writing the books, I will do one of the above a) scream until I can't speak. b) cry myself to sleep for the next year or two...(or three, or four), or c) trow the book across the room. Possibly all three.

Oh my gosh I did that with one of my books. Literally. Except for a different cause.

It seems like you are a really good author and writer. After your comments, and your entry in the contest.

I'm definitely joining the next contest there is. I kind of recently made an account on Dogo, so I haven't gotten the chance. I have to say, I think I will do pretty well. I'm able to since I go on very often. Good job on yours!!!

you're welcome. Will you be absent from school the day he stops writing it. Or, will you just cry throughout every day for the rest of your life?

No, I will probably not be absent from school that day.

Really? I've been BEGGING my parents to let me stay home from school that day.

Well, of course I ASK them that I can stay home and read it all day, but they ALWAYS say no.

Imaginetheysaidyes?Best dayever.IfI coulddotaht withwhatever bookI want,I wouldnever beinschiol for therest of mylife.

YAY!!!! Must be pretty sad for you to find out he is done. I probably shouldn't bring it up. I love stone fox just like you love this book.

Well, duh, it's still Rick Riordan. But I don't think I'm ready to let go of the whole cast of characters that I grew up with. They're kind of a part of me, and, really, a part of all of us. Remember when you first met that struggling, twelve-year-old boy at Yancy Academy? He wasn't a hero then. In fact, he wasn't even popular. He was what society treated as a lost cause. He thought he would never amount to anything, not in the real world. But, in reality, he had no idea what the 'real world' was. In a modern world packed with Greek mythology, he finally had a chance to be seen as himself, not as a label. I don't know about you, but I was just a kid when I read that. (Well, I'm still a kid, but you know what I mean.) This was all new and magical and perfect. And the story stayed with me. The characters stayed with me. Percy's been here for so long. I can't imagine him leaving. So, basically, I'm both looking forward to and totally dreading Blood of Olympus.

Uncle Rick, you make me MAD! (Ugh, I'm typing with my BUBBIE'S keyboard. So. Freaking. Old.)

I liked Red Pyramid and other Kane Chronicles books... Why shouldn't the vikings get a turn? and how do you get 2 his blog plz im desperate

You get to his blog by a) searching his name on Google. b) you look for the tab that says "Myth and Mystery" and you click on it. And c) ENJOY!!!

I don't know, what is he going to do with Thor, Odin, Loki, Valhalla, etc. anyway? I mean, he can't get a half-blood with that kind of stuff, the Norse gods did not mix with the flimsy mortals of Midgard. I feel like I'm mixing mythology with mythology, does Thor belong in Norse mythology?? I am so confused. My feels are dying. Like Finnick and Mags. Oh my gods.

I'm not even going to say who I do or don't want to die. That could jinx it.

im supposed to be on a 'book diet'. after seeing that this book is out........im going to cry!

Bookworm Bookworm

Well there's like 200 something more to go :)

Uncle Rick is such a troll like that. Says he's done, breaks our hearts, then comes out with more books. But I'm trying to accept that this could be the end. Trying. Then failing.

EVERYONE, CALM DOWN!! THIS IS PROBABLY NOT GOING TO BE THE LAST BOOK AND SERIES UNCLE RICK IS GOING TO WRITE. PROBABLY. Anyway. To all those fangirls and rare fanboys in the Mortal realm, you are all demigods. Get your slow behinds to CHB now. OR ELSE THE MONSTERS SHALL GET YOU. Daughters of Pluto, I'm your sister :)

Thanks for all the info. It probably won't because this is only his fifth book in the series. I can't believe I still haven't read this book

I don't know whether I'm Athena, or maybe Aphrodite, 'cause I like Piper. Probably Athena.

Does anybody know how to stop fangirling? 'Cause I gotta problem. . .

Go to internet rehab, it's considered an.."addiction" (pfft.) everyone's the same. Same problem, same fandom, same everything.

I want to read this book and finish the series!

I can't wait to read the ending of the Heroes of Olympus series!
