Wonder is about a boy named Auggie who was born with a face deformity that leaves him looking very much unlike other kids his age. When he joins a school for the first time, he is shunned and mocked by most kids, but is eventually befriended by some of them. Auggie's experience not only gives him new confidence in himself, it also teaches other kids to accept and appreciate those who are different. I loved the humor that Auggie was able to create though it was in such terrible circumstances. This book really taught me to accept those around me, and also to realize how lucky I am to be who I am right now. I hope that others who read this will also be inspired!

this book is amazing! it is so inspiring and its like a teacher in the form of a book because it teaches you the importance of how someone may look or talk different but their humans too! once i dyed my hair pink and i also snorted when i laughed and people called me "Miss Piggy". this book also teaches you some very important life lessons and that is why i love this book! it's so Wonder-ful!

Wonder by: R. J. Palacio. I want to read this book because I was inspired by squeaks because it sounds like it is emotional and caring about a boy who needs help in 5th grade.
