Wonder is a book that is so inspiring and true! It is about a boy named Auggie who has a face deformity and was home-schooled for most of his life. This year is different however, when he goes to a public school. He learns about life there, and makes many new friends. This book really shows social interactions and teaches us that we should never judge based on somebody's outward appearances. I highly, highly recommend this book so that many can learn this lesson!

Over 6 million people have read the #1 New York Times bestseller WONDER and have fallen in love with Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face.
The book that inspired the Choose Kind movement.
I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.
August Pullman was born with a facial difference that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. WONDER, now a #1 New York Times bestseller and included on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list, begins from Auggie’s point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. These perspectives converge in a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy, compassion, and acceptance.
"Wonder is the best kids' book of the year," said Emily Bazelon, senior editor at Slate.com and author of Sticks and Stones: Defeating the Culture of Bullying and Rediscovering the Power of Character and Empathy. In a world where bullying among young people is an epidemic, this is a refreshing new narrative full of heart and hope. R.J. Palacio has called her debut novel “a meditation on kindness” —indeed, every reader will come away with a greater appreciation for the simple courage of friendship. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

Wonder is a lovely book about a boy who is what we call "ugly". He faces many challenges at his first year in middle school, but also makes many new friends. This is an amazing book that is beautifully written
Wonder is about a boy named August (Auggie). He was born with a facial abnormality, which is why he was home-schooled. When people saw him in public, they looked away. But instead of home school this year, his parents decided to let him try public school. They wanted him to make friends in school, and do all the things they would do in public school. This book was a warm story, and I recommend it to people who have disabilities, or are like August. When you read this book, you'll definitely see a person with disabilities as not a person you would avoid, but make friends with. I highly recommend this book.
A heartwarming story about a 5th grade boy going to public school for the very first time. Augie was born with a facial deformity but comes to realize that what's on the inside of a person is so much more important than what's on the outside. Along the way Augie meets several classmates who have a variety of reactions to his outward appearance. A favorite book that I've read at least three times!
Wonder is about a boy named Auggie. He has a deformed face. He goes to school after being homeschooled and faced many challenges, such as bullying and discrimination. This is an amazing story and everyone should read it.
Wonder is a tale about a 5th grader with a face deformity. He's just a normal kid who has been homeschooled his entire life because of all the surgeries he's had in his life. The story follows him and shows his struggles in his 5th grade year. The story is basically told in different perspectives.
A beautiful story by Palacio that shows you a life lesson of making genuine friends and developing friendships. The main character is a boy named Auggie who has a facial deformity. He has been homeschooled just until now in which he will attend a private school. There he is bullied and teased by classmates but befriends a kind girl named Summer who helps him regain his courage and make new friends.
