Her guys I read this book in like, fourth, third grade and I absolutely adored it. I felt like Auggie could be in the room with me. I thought the first part was sad, but I was like, seven at the time. I am really excited for the movie, and I am being honest when I say I still read the book every other week. Asta la vista.

Over 6 million people have read the #1 New York Times bestseller WONDER and have fallen in love with Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face.
The book that inspired the Choose Kind movement.
I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.
August Pullman was born with a facial difference that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. WONDER, now a #1 New York Times bestseller and included on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list, begins from Auggie’s point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. These perspectives converge in a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy, compassion, and acceptance.
"Wonder is the best kids' book of the year," said Emily Bazelon, senior editor at Slate.com and author of Sticks and Stones: Defeating the Culture of Bullying and Rediscovering the Power of Character and Empathy. In a world where bullying among young people is an epidemic, this is a refreshing new narrative full of heart and hope. R.J. Palacio has called her debut novel “a meditation on kindness” —indeed, every reader will come away with a greater appreciation for the simple courage of friendship. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

This book i feel like writing an essay on but essays arekl for science! ikesjk
Wonder. I first read this book in Grade 5 and i feel i connected to the protagonist of the book, August Pullman. August has never attended school because of his 'extraordinary face' but when his parents decide for August to attend school, like an ordinary kid, everthing he isn't, he goes through several ups and down with classic 5th grade bullies and his friends. I absolutly loved this book! I read it 3 times and I wouldn't mind reading it again.
this book has taught me it's ok to be different just be yourself and be the best you can this is probrably one of my favorite books. It has taught me a big lesson. You should not make fun of others by just how they look because they can still be a good person and one day become your friend so it's just by the saying"don't judge a book by it's cover". I wouldn't care how August looked i would probrably want to be his friend in real life.
I love love love this book. So excited for the movie to come out in novembwer
best book but so sad .
This is my favorite book of ALL TIMES! It is about a boy named Auggie who’s was born deformed. He has been home schooled all his life and is finally going to 5th grade for the first time. It is about him and his friend (or enemies) and how people treat him. It is s great book and I would totally recommend it to any grades 3- and adults! Also I CAN NOT WAIT till the movie!
