Over 6 million people have read the #1 New York Times bestseller WONDER and have fallen in love with Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face.

The book that inspired the Choose Kind movement.

I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.

August Pullman was born with a facial difference that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. WONDER, now a #1 New York Times bestseller and included on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list, begins from Auggie’s point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. These perspectives converge in a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy, compassion, and acceptance.

"Wonder is the best kids' book of the year," said Emily Bazelon, senior editor at Slate.com and author of Sticks and Stones: Defeating the Culture of Bullying and Rediscovering the Power of Character and Empathy. In a world where bullying among young people is an epidemic, this is a refreshing new narrative full of heart and hope. R.J. Palacio has called her debut novel “a meditation on kindness” —indeed, every reader will come away with a greater appreciation for the simple courage of friendship. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

This book is about a kid who has a deformed face his name is August. When he goes to school he has a hard time. I really don’t know how he can go the year with a puck. He has been homeschooled most of his live.He feels orenairy but other people don’t see him that way. During the book I felt sad and omost cried. I really like this book it was one of the best books I ever reed. I really recommend this book It has so much emotion that it will make you cry.

Wonder is concentrating on a disfigured boy named, August, who has been home schooled from his parents since he didn’t want to be around other people. When august reaches the age of 10 he goes to his first public school which eventually turns into an adventure. Following further into story August gets friends that found him normal just like he wished. Eventually August first school friend, jack, turned out to be a fraud and was just being with August since he was told to. Throughout this story August has been outside with other people and was surprisingly comfortable with it. Sometime at home he’s been through family issues. Wonder's other characters has went through some rough times to which they narrates their story themselves. Very much I recommend this book, since, I read it, it was a good book, emotional, and beautiful. Especially from heart touching moments that you’ll sure love, You can try out reading this amazing book yourself.

The book wonder was awesome, I have never ever read this kind of book. All the talking and all the things they were doing was so detailed. I like the characters in the book. I like how jack frighted for being with august and not with Julian. Sorry I spoiled it for you. This book is awesome it has every emotion like the sad part fanny part happy part. It make me cry in some parts like when daisy died. I also liked how the author detailed everything and the movie don't even have that much details. First I read the book and then I saw the movie both of them was amazing. I mostly liked jack the most from all the character there were. August was awesome in this book and movie WONDER. Thank You for reading the review.

This book called Wonder is one of the best selling books. It talks about showing respect to others no matter who they are what they look like and what their personality is . It also has emotions that can be happy or sad. The main character is August Pullman. Many thing happened to him in this book. What I like about this book is that August’s friends were so nice to him and he had a family that loved and cared so much for him. If you love drama I recommend you to get this book. Everyone called him Auggie as a nickname. He also had a friend named Jack and another friend named Summer and he had a big sister named Olivia but they called her Via. Via is a very protective sister. Once you finish this book you will want to read this book over and over and over again because it’s so good. There was a bully in this book and that person cause a lot of drama. But I recommend getting this book.

Wonder is about a kid with a disability thow it a great book i love it I got done with the book last month. There are a couple parts where i cried over all the books I read ever this tops them all. It's a book to remember I have a lot of feelings for the book. It is over all great there is a perfect balance with happy, sad, worried and mad. I would recommend this book to all my friends. I love it i want to be Auggies best friend I don't care what he looks like. I would like to be his brother.

In this book, there’s this kid named August Pullman (Auggie) who has a deformed face but he’s an ordinary kid and this is his journey through fifth grade. This book is really funny and really sad. I love this book because Auggie suffers through a lot and also he is really funny. I would give this book to everybody who like books because this book is really addicting to read. If this was real, I would be crying for Auggie because it’s his first time going to school and before he was home schooled. I feel really bad for Auggie because all that has happened to him it’s just extremely sad. He does ordinary stuff but like why can’t he be ordinary like other kids. At the end, he literally becomes an ordinary kid even without a normal face.

This book is about a 10 year old boy who is named August Pullman. (Auggie) is a kid with a deformed face struggling to fit in school when he was really born to stand out. He has this wonderful family that loves him. Yes, there is a lot of drama in this book such as (spoiler alert warning) him being bullied and so much more that you can possibly imagine. When I read this book I actually felt similar to how Auggie's life is kind of related to mine. This book has a lot of wonderful and meaningful messages. So I recommend a lot of people to read this book because it will open and wise your eyes and probably even change the way you are. As you can see this book really is a wonder!
