I have this book and it is AWESOME. you cannot ever get tired of it. It helped me get ready to have braces and now i have them. she changed my life.

This book is amazing! I have braces like Raina did. I like how she handled it. She's brave! And she went through a lot but she dealt with it. And stayed strong!

Smile is a graphic memoir by New York Times bestselling author Raina Telgemeier. In this coming-of-age book, a sixth-grader named Raina undergoes crazy dental surgery after severely knocking out her two front teeth in a fall. Raina has to wear braces and do crazy dental surgery. She also copes with crushes, mean friends, family, and daily life. This is a great book and I totally reccomend it to fans of comics. For those of you who enjoyed Smile, I reccomend the follow-ups, Sisters and Guts, as well al the Baby-Sitters Club series. Happy reading! :D
