This book is about Raina. One day, she gets her front teeth knocked out. This book is about the journey on how she gets her teeth fixed. It's also about how she faces bullying and loneliness. I liked this book because of the story and the meaning of the story. Also, I liked the drama in this book. I recommend this book!

Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

I just LOVE Smile! Raina is such a good cartoonist 5 stars all the way! LOL
An autobiography written by Raina. Raina is a 6th grader, middle school. she gets into a bit of trouble in her middle school. This is an autobiography, so readers get a chance to become Raina while reading. Awesome book.
It is so good I would always read it.
I think this is a very good book because it really goes throw some of the struggles of high school and it really focuses on the looks about how people are worried about how they look I think the illustrations are great accept for being a bit extreme at times I also think sometimes they completely move of from the topic with honest option a really like a strong moment witch this book I think has a lot of its also nice how theirs so many twist and turns so you don't really know who is nice or mean I would probably give this book a 4.
This book is great! Even though I’ve never had braces before, I like to learn about it. This book made me understand a reason why people are supposed to wear braces and it’s very interesting. If you haven’t read the book before, you should read it.
I loved this book because I also have braces. This is my second favorite Raina book. It is not my favorite because it is a little disgusting.
This book is GREAT. I would give it a 10 out of 10. I own Smile, Sisters, Guts, Drama, Ghosts, and all the BSC comics, so i'm a HUGE Raina Telgemeier fan! By the way, for anyone who likes these books, I suggest you read Sunny Side Up by Jennifer L. Holm.
This book is really great. I especially like that it's about the author, so we get to learn about her past. In Smile, Raina trips and severely injures her two front teeth, causing a lot of dental drama. Plus, on top of braces and stuff, she deals with mean friends, crushes, and her family. I think this book is relatable, because I once injured my teeth, too. A great read! I love it! (5 stars!) I recommend this to anyone who's 9 and older, or to anyone who liked The Baby-Sitters Club. :D
This was a true story About Raina and her dentel drama as well as her drama at school. It was very good and fasinating. I recommend this book to anyone ages 9+.
