After tripping, Raina loses 2 of her teeth resulting in a visit to the dentist. After that starts a long journey with braces. The story overall shows how Raina dealt with braces and dentist appointments.
It's a great book. It really tells you that many people in middle school are having the same problems as you and that you should feel bad for who you really are.
Have you guys read Smile?! Smile is the BEST book ever! Well it's actually a fact because every single one of Raina Telgemeier's books are AMAZING! So "Smile" is about a girl named Raina who just wants to be a normal 6th grader.But then after a Girl Scouts Meeting, she had an accident and lost two of her front permanent teeth. Now she has through diffculties in life from Family, to not-so-friends drama, boys and DENTAL DRAMA?! At the end she finds are true voice and knows the what the true act of friendship really means and knows where she can finally smile! So like I was saying. YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!
I love this book. Raina Telgemeler is my favorite author. This book is about Raina loosing her two front teeth and getting her teeth fixed. She gets braces, her ears pierced, and go's to high school. She finds new friends there and a way to be her with them because they like her for her.
This is a good book. I enjoyed it! You should read it. It is a true story

It is ok not the best story i have ever red but it is cool
(I've already read it) This book was so amazing and sorta easy to relate to, it shows how you can be confident in life during school and how you look, to not care about what any one says, i have to say that i love this book a lot! I rate this 5 stars!
