Raina Telgemeier's #1 New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award-winning graphic memoir based on her childhood!

Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

Smile, By Raina Telegeimer is a hit! I have each of her books on my shelf! She takes her personal story in a.. Creative way! With wonderful art, this humorous and true story can easily become your favorite! Between 12 year old Raina's Drama, Crushes, and Fake Friends, she had an accident causing her to have dental problems, She has to deal with it while trying to overcome Middle School, and later in The Story High School! I of course never would want to spoil it but I absolutely recommend this book Even if your a person who has never been a fan of reading Rains Telegeimer's book Smile can turn that around! Smile puts a Smile on my, and many other fans faces! Happy Reading

Amazing book. I read the first page, and I couldn't stop reading it. Read it!❤️❤️❤️❤️

A real-life story of 6th grader Rania. While racing home from girl scouts, she trips and falls, injuring her front teeth. On top of that, there is earthquakes, love drama, and the worst of friends to handle with. I would recommend this book to someone who likes interesting stories and something for a fly by read.

Smile is such a great book and I recommend everybody to read it. This book is so interesting and it makes time flyby if you want a great book to read with pictures isn’t 400 pages long. This is a book for you to read. Five star recommend.

A smile may seem easy, but when you knock out your two front adult teeth, a smile needs to adapt. Raina's story, a real-life narrative, is one that many can relate to, and it will change your perspective on life. On a night back from Girl Scouts, the reality came. Headgears, dentures, retainers, and a frustrating school environment were just hurdles for Raina to overcome. But in a teenager's mind, what could that goal be? Happy reading! ~ Victoria

I LOVE this book. It's about a teenage girl named Raina who injures her two front teeth. She often thinks that it is embarrassing to wear headgear and braces. The surgery hurts too. It's frustrating for her to visit the dentist often. She also needs to deal with earthquakes, unfriendly friends and confusion with boys. When Raina goes to high school, she makes new, great friends who make her really " SMILE ". I really like this book. It involves friendship, courage and a little romance. I definitely recommend this book, especially kids from grades 2 to 6. I hope you enjoy it!

I like this book because it shows that shes brave and strong through her long journey, she does go through a lot but she has hope that it will be all over but, there is a lot ahead that she does not know what else is gonna happen next, and that's just the beginning.

Smile by Raina Telgemeier was an amazing book about her life as a kid like how she broke her two front teeth and it was a long time of pain this was one of the best ever I read all of her other books like sisters, guts, ghost and drama those were the best kinds of books ever I would recommend it.

Smile is an awesome graphic novel by Raina Telegmeier about Raina as a kid. She falls and damages her two front teeth leading to four years of long, hard, painful and annoying dental treatment. I recommend Smile for grades third to sixth.

I recommend this book I have it at my house and have read it many times It's one of my personal favorites.
