Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

This book shows that having cancer isn't the end of the world....... but, just a complication in life. It's not depressing, it just has some sad highlights. It shows that true love can really exist in a tough as nails world.

I really want to see the movie that's coming out!

This book is great. Its very inspirational, but depressing.

awesome book

I think is an awesome book also!

I don't know how to describe how much I am obsessed with this book. It's just, well, I don't know...If there was any way to give this book a gazillion out of 5 stars, I would. Who am I kidding, I would still try to give it more stars! I read this book 7 times (soon 8) and when you look closer into it, you can see all the thought John Green put into every word of his piece. (There are so many foreshadows and metaphorical scenes that you don't notice while you read it the first time). Hazel Lancaster is a normal sixteen-year-old girl-- she has friends, watches TV, reads books-- except for the fact that she has cancer. When she meets the gorgeous Augustus Waters at a cancer support group (OMG. HE. IS. AMAZING!!!!) her world turns around. To him, instead of being the girl who has cancer, she is the beautiful one-of-a-kind girl that he wouldn't be able to live without. Who he loves from the moment he lays eyes on her. They go on a beautiful, touching, unforgettable journey, and you go with them. This book makes you cry, laugh, cry-- and did I mention?-- cry. The Fault in Our Stars is coming out as a movie on June 6 (in the USA). CAN'T WAIT!!!

this is definitely the best review yet

OMG. This is such an amazing book. This is seriously a modern classic. Green's lighthearted romance makes up for the heart-breaking romance. This book will make you cry and laugh (but you'll mostly likely be crying more). His characters are easy to relate to, and Hazel and Augustus' relationship is very realistic. As a certified fangirl, I strongly assure you that this book will give you the worst feels that you will have felt in your lifetime (right in the feels). This book is certainly NSFW (not safe for work). I'm actually calling myself stupid for not reading this sooner. My copy of the book is also filled with little Post-Its because there was many quotes that I loved. I absolutely, positively hate this book. I hate how perfect and inspirational this is. I hate how *spoiler alert* Augustus had to die. I hate how they couldn't continue with their relationship, but this book is so perfect, I can't even. This is really the first time that I have been at a sincere loss of words. I have no idea how to give this book the review that it deserves. I'm not okay. OKAY?! I'm really not. ~ifeelbookish P.S. - Thank you John Green for this book. You sure you aren't Peter Van Houten? Oh, and thank you very much Esther Earl. You have been an inspiration to all of us. From one nedfirghter to another, DFTBA everyone! (By the way, you should read This Star Won't Go Out by Ester Earl)
