Praise for Art2-D2's Guide to Folding and Doodling
"Once again, Angleberger’s humor, which presents itself in the text through characters from the series, in both human and origami form, connects with middle-grade readers. 'Art2' and the other 'Origami Yoda' books are the ultimate example of the by-a-fan/for-the-fans format, which succeeds if executed properly. This did he.”
Florida Times-Union

"
Excellent activity-book offshoot of Angleberger’s bestselling Origami Yoda series… The banter and tongue-and-cheek humor of the previous books is present, along with encouragement."
Publishers Weekly

"The presentation’s offbeat attitude, ingenuity, and wit, many libraries will want to stock this high interest book..."
Booklist

"Fans (and nonfans, if there are any) of the “Origami Yoda” series (Abrams) and website will find new opportunities aplenty for foolery in this spinoff compendium of progressively challenging hands-on instructions for drawing, folding, and goofing around with (mostly) Star Wars characters."

I LUV DEES BOOK. hOI.

this book helped me fold a clone trooper right!!

wonderful. This book changed my way of thinking about origami in general and is beautifully written, to give the feel of a bunch of middle school students having actually written it.

Also, although this doesn't have to do with the book, does anyone have a technique of some sort to cut out the facial features for Han Foldo? I've tried, but they always come out misshapen and sharp-edged.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!

Well, hi. I'm new, although not new to folding origami stuff. At all. So I was a really big fan of the OY series starting in about third grade, and I started folding stuff and all that. Then, the next year, that changed when Art2-D2's Guide came out, and I started making my own original puppets and stuff. Then, even my friends got interested in "doodlegami", and I'd just make puppets for my friends and they'd draw characters and stuff on them. that changed when I switched schools. Then my first year was horrible. Now my second year is horrible, but now that's changing, and it's because I'm getting back into origami (not to mention reading the OY books). TL; DR, Origami Yoda saved my life (figuratively). So that's my story. The OY books really made my life a little more fun and less monotonous, and if you actually read this far, thanks, and just take a nap if you're yawning like heck now.
