I love these books! When young Star is born a black Pegasus in the land of Anok, the other pegasi wisper about his fate. In Anok, the black Pegasus is either born to bring the herds together in peace, or it is born to destroy everything and everyone. Most pegasi want him dead before his first birthday, not wanting to risk him being a destroyer, but a few adore Star and want to help him.
