Ava is a normal girl who is afraid of everything. One day she finds a magical pencil that tells her the answers to specific questions that she writes down. With that pencil her and her best friend Sophie gains power. Ava starts to get curious and has a panic attack of what is happening to her family. Later she finds out something she wish she hadn't. But finding out made her come out of her shell not afraid. I think all readers would really enjoy this book.
