Parkland Students Instigate Worldwide Protest Against Gun Violence

The problem with these tragedies is not the guns themselves, but the people who commit the crime. I absolutely agree that this shouldn't happen, but I also don't believe that guns should be taken away from law abiding Americans. What we need to do is institute mental health exams into the gun buying process. Nikolas Cruz was a monster, and that could be proven. If they would have given him a psych evaluation, this would have never happened. So, the solution is not to ban firearms, but simply update the system.
