Columbus Day Or Indigenous Peoples' Day? The Debate Rages On

I think Columbus day should not be celebrated because the native Americans had been there for thousands of years before he got there, and he killed hundreds of them for no apparent reason other than he disliked them. he is just cruel and should not get his own holiday. I think Columbus day should be replaced with indigenous people's day.
