This book is very intriguing, Pig is the dam keeper ever since father left. He gets the job done though he feels lonely sometimes. What happens when things start to happen with the fog that are unusual? this book was really good, it was a quick read that left me wanting more, I will definitely be reading the second book to find out what happens next.

This is definitely one of my new favorite books. I love all of the main characters, they all have depth and flaws but are still lovable. the plot was never once boring I enjoyed finding out the main characters backstory, and the main story held suspense. This book centers around war in a fantasy world with almost very slight dystopian aspects. I would recommend for fantasy lovers ages 13+.
