Gathering Blue is about a girl named Kira who is in an alternate future than Jonas's in The Giver. The Giver is about a future of technology, Gathering Blue is a future Native American style.

Anna and Elsa were very close when they were little. Elsa had ice powers, and strikes Anna while playing on accident. Elsa, afraid to hurt anyone else, locks herself up. Their parents die and the two sisters are alone. On her corination day, Elsa uses her ice powers on accident and runs away. Anna goes after her and meets a couple friends along the way. This movie is about love, sisterhood, and what it takes to thaw anger and fear.
