Excessive Poaching May Be Causing African Elephants To Evolve Without Tusks

I think what's happening is so cruel elephants are losing their tusks, of how much poachers have taken off their tusks and killed them. But it can be a good thing that some don't have their tusk so they won't be the ones targeted. It can help the population of elephants grows bigger even if it means having no tusks. But its horrible for the male elephants that don`t have horns because they can get really hurt when they fight for the female elephants.
