He wanted to build a bike that is capable of reaching speeds of approximately 300 to 400 mils per hour. Francois Gissy the Frenchman, who loves speed, raced against a Ferrari and won. It left the Ferrari in the dust. With no chance against the jet-powered bike, Francois Gissy and his two rocket engined bike accelerated to a top speed of 285 km per hour in just 6.7 seconds!!!! It left the Ferrari in the dust!! attempted rocket bicycling in May he got to 163 km per hour. In October of the same year, On November 13th, 2014, the Frenchman decided to challenge his own record once again, by fitting his bike with three rockets. He got to top speed of 333 km per hour in a mere 4.8 seconds. It would be extremely cool to have one of these bikes if you had a long stretch of pavement with nothing in the way.
