do you have to read books from this list only to earn prizes?

It was a fun and fast read. It used footnotes to explain things that most authors would put in parentheses, which made it unique. It is about a boy who just wants to be liked and have a fun summer. But then his parents make him go to a summer camp with them. He realizes that none of the kids at the camp will know him, and decides to "reinvent" himself. He then tries on a whole new personality and learns a lot about himself. There were some parts that I thought were so funny that I couldn't stop laughing out loud!

I do want to read this book, Evan!

I loved this book, and it remains one of my favorites. It has adventure, friendship, touching parts and inspiring parts. You will love it!

I LOVE this book! The chapters "flip" back and forth between the two main characters' point of view so you get to watch their attitudes towards themselves and each other change over time. A GREAT story.
