I think the article is saying that lots of people are not really...just there for the actual game. But there are other reasons. For example, some watch just the halftime show, some just want a nice family reunion. And that Americans really love football, and also just want to watch the Super Bowl. Also, some people like their team, like the Patriots and the Falcons. ...That's all.

I think that people people put alot of work, and time into there Super Bowl Parties and the Super Bowl means alot to them and the people that celebrate the special event (Super Bowl LI) ,and about 188.9 million Americans celebrate the Super Bowl.
