Very action-y and shows that there can be brave, independent female protagonists in stories too! Great story about rebellion against an evil Capital that sends kids age 12-18 to fight to the death and how Katniss Everdeen tries to survive. Also excellent movie, but read the book first! I wouldn't recommend this to children under 10, though, because there are a few slightly gory scenes in there. Anyway, AMAZING BOOK!Over 13 years agomarymar123 added a new comment in
