I think that the people of Thai were protesting for freedom😃

In the original Hunger games the salute was used as a way to say goodbye. The reason it signify in Thailand is thisThat's when five students wearing T-shirts with the slogan “We don’t want the coup”, raised their hands in the infamous three finger salute in front of the head of the military government, Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha, as he was addressing the residents of the town of Khon Kaen. the protester had to go to jail. The Thai officials are afraid of the salute because they think it could start a rebelling.

it surprised me that the three finger solute is not just part of the hunger games movies and that even in the real world it is still not aloud in some parts of the world. i think that the author already knows that we know about the three finger solute from the hunger games movies and books. and what changed or confirmed my thinking is that... wile i was reading i know what the three finger solute men't and to prove it it says that the three finger solute means to initiate a political uprising that will heighten it states that in the 5th paragraph.

i love to movie they should be able to do the sign because it is supposed to mean thank you. i hope our word does'nt become like the world in Hunger Games
