kotlcgirl's book review was featured in The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 1).
I think that Percy Jackson is an amazing book for young readers from ages 8-15. The main character Percy is humorous and kind which can bring a positive impact on the readers. Along the way, the readers can learn about Greek mythology through Rick Riordan's creative way of putting Percy and his friends in the stories. The books can teach the readers about important morals in life, such as teamwork and hard work. The first book talks about how Percy embarks on his first quest in a whole new world, filled with monsters and gods. The readers will have a thrilling ride along-side Percy and immerse the plots, plot-twists, and many more that Rick Riordan has to offer in this book that can really change the perspective of the world. Overall, I would definitely recommend Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief.

kotlcgirl's book review was featured in Keeper of the Lost Cities.
Keeper of the Lost Cities was an especially exciting book to read. Shannon Messenger has successfully created a whole new world for the readers to explore. Sophie Foster, the main character is a role model for readers and even when she faces a lot of challenges she never gives up, easily inspiring many readers. This is by far the most interesting series I have ever read. Shannon Messenger has had to make many small details for the whole Elvin world to really fall together, and lots of readers appreciate that. The Elvin world, the adventure, and Sophie and her friends are all incredibly amazing and the whole book overall is nice and easy to read. Yes, there are a lot of plots and it may seem confusing to read at first, but Shannon managed to make everything make sense at the end. I highly recommend this book for readers aged 10-14.

kotlcgirl's book review was featured in The Truth About Stacey: Full-Color Edition (The Baby-Sitters Club Graphix #2).
The Truth about Stacey is a change compared to the first book, because now the author mainly focuses about Stacey. Ann talks about how Stacey has to adjust from moving and her diabetes. This book is quite influential to many readers, especially the ones who share the same feelings as Stacey. This book teaches readers to be more independent and believe in yourself. I think that this book is good, and I learned a lot from this. I recommend this book for kids aged 8-13.
