I know this is very late in a comment, but I hope they turn out fine! PS: My dream horses are named Thunder, Lightning, Blizzard, and Hurricane. Wow, unpredictable, at least I'm not the only horsie gal that wants to name their horse those names. :-)

I don't have a horse. Your lucky. I'm getting one soon though. Anyways, I agree about the over-working part, like horse racing, and dressage, and barrel racing, and all that other junk that they do to make humans entertained by hurting and drugging these gorgeous animals. Yay, basically copied my comment. :-) I am also worried that the losers of the sport (horses) will be sent to slaughter... ;-(

Everyone who wants to try: In a nice way, be my guest, but in the first picture, they are overworking the horse. The mare's (or glending's, don't know) eye, you can tell that the horse is scared if the see the white part of their eye. To sum up, as long as you don't hurt yourself or your (or owner's) horse, overwork the horse, or scare the horse, go right ahead and try it! I don't mind a bit then... :-)
