Hatchet is a survival book with a bunch of adventures. It all begins with a 13 year boy heading to Canada to see his father who moved away because he is now divorced to his mom who lives in New York. Brain the 13 year old boy who lives with his mom and that's how he found out about the Secret. My favorite part is when Brain is trying to find food out in the wilderness. I would recommend this book for people from the age of 11 to 14, because there might be some hash language. One character I am fond of is Brain, because I love how he tries to get home safely. Also, I love that there's some attacks that happen in this book.
