Okay, I'll give an honest opinion. Be aggressive, don't let anyone know you're not really confident, but act like you are. That way people don't know you are, and don't pick on you. For example, if someone cut you in the lunch line, what do you do about it? You ask them to go behind you, and if they don't, just cut them.
