Charlie and the chocolate was a good book.My favorivte character was Violet beacause she likes to chew gum and I like to chew gum too. My least favoritecharacter was Mr.Augustus Gloop beacause he is very fat. If I could change a scene in the book I would change the scene in which Mike Teavee comesout half instead of full.concluding I think you should read this book.

I just finished reading this book the second time with the class and I enjoyed it very much. Claudia is my favorite character because I think she is a lot like me. She likes adventure but at the same time she like having routines and schedules. Plus she has annoying brothers like I do. My favorite part of the book was when Claudia and her brother Jamie were frantically searching through Mrs. Frankweiler's files for clues to the 'angel'. I didn't like the ending though because I wanted to read more about what happened to them when they got home. Overall it was an adventurous book :)
