New Gene Studies Uncover Why Autism Symptoms Vary Widely

I used to go to a school with a lot of disabled kids. We a had girl with Down syndrome, a girl with tubes in her nose and she carried around a pole with a bag of water, 3 kids with wheel chairs, 5 kids with HEARING AIDS, and at least 15 with autism. It was so sad that a lot of kids made fun of and bullied the disabled kids. I changed schools the next year because it was a magnet school, but I wish I would have stayed because one of my very best friends had autism and was mocked every day by one of the boys. She was so happy and sweet around me and some of the other girls.
