It may seem kind of long, but after the first chapter or so, it goes by really quickly. IT's different from the movies (like all books are), and if you have the time, you should read this book.Over 11 years agoanimalfan added a book review.
The Fellowship of the Ring is the first book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It takes place in a land called Middle Earth, where an evil power has awoken again. Frodo Baggins, a Hobbit from the Shire, has to take the Ring of Power to the evil land of Mordor, with the help of the Fellowship.
