I really liked the book “Krista Pompey – The Becoming” by Chana Thompson because I love the story. It is very interesting to see how Krista, an 11-year-old girl, who just moved to the States copes with her newly found talent. Seeing her struggle with conflicts that threaten to make her feel alone, but then watching as she fights back and regains control of the situation was very inspiring.
I would definitely recommend it to other pre-teens and teens that like interesting fictional stories.Almost 13 years agobella445 added a book review.

The Uglies Series is set in a future utopian world. It is very interesting and almost frightening at the same time. I love the idea of the series. Why not have a perfect society? When everybody is pretty, what can go wrong? But is it really as perfect as it seems? Amazing books. If you like Sci-Fi, then go ahead!! This is the best book series ever!! The main character is completely relatable for either sex, and it has a very fantastic story! Since it's fantasy, it has a surreal touch to it and if you really like fantasy then this is the book fo you! I can only recommend this.Almost 13 years agobella445 added a book review.
