When eleven year old Olive moves into the old house on Linden Street, she knows theres something weird about the place-the creepy antique paintings, the three very unusual cats. But the weirdest thing? When Olive finds and puts on a pair of old glasses, she can travel inside paintings to elsewhere, a sinister world with strange secrets to keep. Soon Olive finds herself caught in a dark and dangerous plan. Can she confront the powers in the house that want to get rid of her and her family... before the lights go out for good?

I loved Hoot and when I saw this book it was even better. Carl has such a way of writing that just brings you into the story. I have been hocked and will probably read the rest of his books.

This movie was very action packed. It didn't really appeal to me because this is just not my kind of movie. If you like futuristic movies that keep you on the edge of your seat, then you shoud definitly watch this.
